Oak Forest
has four distinct seasons with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Summers are accompanied by occasional high humidity and thunderstorms. This can become uncomfortable, but generally doesn’t last longer than a few days at a time. Winter generally consists of cold temperatures and lots of snow, especially along the snowbelt near Lake Michigan. Spring and fall have mild days and cool nights. Most rain occurs in spring and early summer. Fall is often the sunniest season of the year.
